Anthropology is the study of what it is that makes us human; it studies world cultures, and the non-symbolic cultures of animals; it includes both the human and non-human domain as its subject matter. Understanding the past is crucial to our understanding of the present; students gain access to a range of skills: critical thinking and reading, analysis and assessment of argument, and writing and presentation are all developed.
