The aim of the course is to promote the development and application of advanced clinical skills in cognitive behavioural therapy; the diploma is a continuing professional development course for health and social services professionals who have already gained initial counselling and therapy skills and are using these in their professional practice; the course consists of 2 60-credit modules and comprises of academic teaching, skills, workshops, supervised clinical practice, course work and assessed assignments.
