Benefit from UEA’s internationally renowned teachers and researchers in media and culture to gain an understanding of contemporary media from a variety of perspectives and disciplines. This course is characterised by the way it straddles several fields that are of crucial importance today, bringing together key aspects of modern media and approaching them from the perspective of politics, economics, law and international development. You will look at the role of media in global citizenship, at media law and economics, and at different media systems. Through your choice of optional modules (including practical media options) and your dissertation, you will tailor the degree to your interests, focusing on those aspects of media and society that you feel are most important.
