This course allows students to develop careers in monitoring prescriptions, counselling patients and talking to doctors and nurses; it can be studied online and training is towards lifelong learning and continuing professional development; it is for qualified pharmacy technicians (or equivalent) with minimum 2 years' post qualification experience, including aseptic work; study is entirely within individual’s own workplace which must be approved and participants should be supported by someone at work who's willing to act as mentor.
