This course aims to enable different professional groups working within the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to enhance their existing practice and develop specialist knowledge and skills; the course has been developed for professionals who are either new to working with children, young people and families or who are seeking to build upon recent experience through the attainment of a recognised specialised qualification; developed in close partnership with colleagues from clinical practice, the course outcomes reflect the developmental needs of healthcare practitioners, the service needs of the organisations and most importantly the desire to improve the quality of care delivered to children, young people and families accessing CAMHS and healthcare in a variety of environments.
