The aim of the programme is to prepare and develop health and social care practitioners who can lead and develop contemporary practice; the programme is designed to enable students to: Demonstrate their capacity for critical enquiry, analysis and application of knowledge in their practice and to support innovations in health and social care; acquire and develop proficient life-long learning and change management skills; advance the boundaries of health and social care through inter-professional leadership and team working; exercise personal professional autonomy within governance frameworks and systems; consolidate and extend theoretical knowledge and practice skills relevant to their own discipline and specialist field facilitating the care and management of people with health and social care needs; engage with work based learning; and function at an advanced level of practice within relevant professional frameworks and organisational requirements.
