This course is designed to help students create animated characters that capture the imagination of an audience through contemporary narrative film and video processes; from day 1 the projects focuses on the specialist skills of animation; the course covers: 3-dimensional stop-motion; model-making and puppet production; 2-dimensional cell, illustrative and computer-generated animation; at the end of the final year, work is exhibited in a degree show screening and/or presented at a local cinema complex; application deadline: March 2010.
