UBC's Asian Studies Department is the flagship Asian Studies department in Canada and is widely acknowledged as one of the finest in North America. In many ways, UBC Asian Studies is a representative department within the Faculty of Arts. It has over 20 regular faculty, as well as an exceptionally well-qualified pool of instructors and sessional instructors.
