This course attracts healthcare professionals from the UK, mainland Europe and North America; utilising a multidisciplinary, problem-based approach to learning, it enables busy practitioners to extend their professional knowledge and carry out research; the course team is committed to promoting evidence-based practice and collaborative working relationships between the respective professions through shared learning; modules are delivered in 3 4-day study blocks in January, March and June; project design, planning and execution are further supported through 4 2-day seminars starting in September, where participants present and discuss the progress of their research with staff and peers; the nature of the research determines whether the degree awarded is in multidisciplinary healthcare or 1 of the named professional specialisms (acupuncture, occupational therapy, osteopathy, physiotherapy, and podiatry).
