The course is of special interest to students without a 1st degree in psychology (typically a requirement on Master's programmes in Forensic and Criminological Psychology) but with a particular interest in psychological perspectives on crime and criminal justice; it combines 2 of the largest social science subjects at Middlesex providing both psychological and sociological perspectives on crime, conflict and its control; students on the Master's have the opportunity to attend common study sessions with post-graduate criminologists studying in universities across Europe including Athens, Barcelona, Ghent, Hamburg and Rotterdam and also at John Jay College in New York.
