This unit enables experienced and qualified practitioners to develop a learning styles approach to the language and learning skills development of dyslexic students through individualised combinations of technology and software; it develops the key content and practical methodology of the adult dyslexia diagnosis and support course, promoting e-Learning strategies in relation to learners strengths and difficulties with learning; it also extends the knowledge of current theory and practice in diagnosing and teaching dyslexic adults in line with the postgraduate certificate in ADDS; it gives students opportunities to develop their skills as teachers and reflect on their own practice.
