This course aims to equip health professionals with the knowledge and skills to reduce blindness and visual disability by: developing a community oriented approach to eye health in line with the aims and objectives of VISION 2020, The Right to Sight; facilitating personal development, enabling individuals to contribute more fully to their societies' eye health; promoting a local, national and international network of health professionals, to improve vision and prevent blindness in the world.
