International Business Development is a new double degree course from two partner universitities: the Russia's leading Lomonosov Moscow State University and internationally recognized Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) in Sweden.
Graduates from this course can expect to start their carier in various countries and they also are equipped with the relevant knowledge and skills for starting their own company. During the course students explore the work of large as well as small and medium enterprises.
Graduates from this course boast unique qualifications as they are familiar with the world of business in Russia, Sweden and Europe. Numerous large and medium Swedish companies operating in the Russian market are interested in hiring such experts. There are potential empoyers among Russian companies operating abroad as well. One in ten JIBS graduates starts their first business while still at the University.
JIBS graduates are being employed by various Swedish and international companies, such as ABB, Barclay’s, Google, IKEA, H&M, Thomson Corporation, European Commission, Merrill Lynch, Yahoo!, Fujitsu, IBM, Procter & Gamble, Langley Travels, Bank One, MTG, Novartis, Unilever, Fondation de France, OEM and Rover. Many students find employment while writing their Master's thesis.
The building of the Faculty of Economics is situated on Sparrow Hills, in the southwest of Moscow. It is a forested area about five miles southwest from the city centre, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the metro from the university by foot, and it's a 15-minute metro ride to the city centre.
