«Менеджмент биотехнологий» – первая межфакультетская магистерская программа Московского Университета. Она реализуется совместно экономическим и биологическим факультетами МГУ. Программа создана по инициативе деканов факультетов – профессора А.А.Аузана и академика М.П.Кирпичникова. Программа направлена на подготовку менеджеров в сфере биотехнологий для работы в бизнесе и госструктурах, а также предпринимателей. Студенты получают навыки и знания для работы в наукоемких отраслях: в медицине и фармакологии, промышленности, пищевой и сельскохозяйственной отрасли, топливно-энергетическом комплексе, охране окружающей среды и других. Программа реализуется в сотрудничестве с представителями «РТ-Биотехпром» (ГК «Ростехнологии»), «Pfizer», Техплатформы «Биотех2030», Российской Венчурной Компании, проекта «Future Biotech», Института биоорганической химии РАН, Института народнохозяйственного прогнозирования РАН и других организаций. Поступить на программу может выпускник естественнонаучных и гуманитарных факультетов, а также профессионал, желающий получить управленческие и экономические знания и навыки для работы в наукоемких отраслях. Для поступления необходимо овладеть базовыми знаниям в сфере молекулярной и клеточной биологий – «азбукой» биотехнологий.

The building of the Faculty of Economics is situated on Sparrow Hills, in the southwest of Moscow. It is a forested area about five miles southwest from the city centre, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the metro from the university by foot, and it's a 15-minute metro ride to the city centre.
