The programme links the academic study of business and management with the complex and uncertain business environment faced by today’s managers; in doing this students develop a comprehensive understanding of a range of important business issues; and develop a critical perspective of these areas with the view to developing their business and managerial knowledge, skills and understanding; as part of an international cohort of students they gain experience of working in cross-cultural teams that equip them for a management role in the global economy; the programme provides students with a unique experience that combines programme induction with the study of the ‘managing teams’ module, whereby the cohort attends a week-long programme at Plas Caerdeon Outdoor Centre in north Wales.
