The Embedded Systems Masters track teaches you how to design and implement smart distributed systems that are low cost, energy efficient and can solve tasks cooperatively. You will learn to design and implement architectures for distributed embedded systems, innovation services and advanced algorithms to solve complex tasks. You will also learn to model and validate complex non-linear systems with multiple inputs and outputs using UML and/or SysML, black box modelling and system identification. And you will learn how to create a digital feedback controller for a linear physical system and to apply control strategies.
In the Embedded Systems Masters track, you will focus on becoming an authority on modelling and smart distributed systems. A variety of teaching methods are used so you attain both the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge. Subjects are bundled into thematic modules in line with topics relevant to industry today.

HAN University of Applied Sciences has two campuses, located in Arnhem and Nijmegen.
Nijmegen is situated on the banks of the river Waal, in the east of The Netherlands, near to the German border, and is the oldest city in Holland - recently celebrating its 2,000th anniversary.
Arnhem, the capital of the province of Gelderland, is only 15km from Nijmegen and lies partially in the hills at the edge of National Park De Veluwe, a striking area of woods and heath. Arnhem is a ‘green’ city, where people take pleasure in living, working and recreation.
