This new programme allows qualified and experienced art therapists to explore clinical practice through critical examination of theory; to gain a wide knowledge of research methods and evidence-based practice; and to develop research skills; qualitative and quantitative research methodologies are explored in the context of evidence-based practice and as the means through which the clinical, contextual and visual considerations within art psychotherapy can be investigated; plus 15,000-word research-based dissertation on a selected topic.
