The Master’s degree programme is a science-based course focusing on the three specialist areas of Systems Biology, Synthetic Biology and Biotechnology. Elective subjects give the opportunity to study certain aspects of biotechnology in greater depth and to extend the knowledge in associated areas. Project work and the eight-month Master’s thesis ensure students are familiar with scientific methodology and give a deeper insight into current research topics.
