Architectural technology is studied in the context of construction processes with an emphasis on the more detailed level of the design and production of buildings; teaching is strongly based on the integration of architectural design, manufacturing production, and assembly on site; in each of the 1st 5 semesters, 1 module is concerned with integrating the semester's study around an existing building project, often while under construction; this ranges from domestic scale projects to complex large-scale industrial, commercial or specialist projects; inter-disciplinary work is encouraged in each of these modules; other streams of study throughout the degree include: technology and production; design and manufacture, with close connections to architecture and industrial design and production.
