This programme consists of 8 units altogether which cover the areas of planning for teaching and supporting learning, enabling learning and assessment, theories and principles, continuing personal and professional development and wider professional practice as well as curriculum development and a subject specific project; preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector qualification is embedded into the 1st unit at level 4; this course is at level 4 and level 5; full-time candidates will undertake 150 hours of work placement in a lifelong learning setting which is organised by the College.
