The computing programme is designed to provide students with a broad introduction to career opportunities in computing; it develops a strong programming/theory of programming approach allowing specialisation across a wide range of fast developing technologies in business and industry; the legal studies programme is specifically designed to reflect the changing nature of the increasingly globalised world, and to this end, the course is structured around the students’ engagement with law, not only at a domestic but at an international level; the course is designed to produce legal minds which can engage in processes of legal reasoning through a competent use of case law, statutory provisions and doctrinal discussion.
