The course aims to produce graduates who look to the future of design and explore how products, materials and services can be taken from creation to disposal with minimal impact on the environment; the pathway provides a good grounding in creative sustainable design methodology, its principles and how they are applied in practice; within this context, this course has 3 main aims: to give you an in-depth understanding of the process of design, from initial concept to manufacture; to encourage students to think outside the box in creating design solutions; to provide students with the skills and knowledge required to produce innovative and inspiring designs; from an introduction to the principles of design students progress to the realisation of designs using the latest software applications and production techniques.

Main campuses are located in Cambridge and Chelmsford, both within an hour from Central London by train. Cambridge is only an hour from London, by train, and can be reached via the M11. Chelmsford offers quick access to London, only 30 minutes by train, and good road connections to the whole of the UK.

Both cities were rated in the top ten best places to live in the UK. Anglia Ruskin’s campuses are right in the centre of both cities, with state-of-the-art learning and recreational facilities available for all students.

Cambridge Ruskin International College (CRIC) has offices in both locations offering everyday help and support. Depending on your study plan, you may spend your entire university life in one location.
