The British Council invites you to the 19th British education fair education UK Study UK: Discover You

7-8 October 2017 years at The Ritz Carlton (Moscow, Tverskaya, 3) will host the 19th British education Fair education UK Study UK: Discover You, pursued by the British Council. This year the exhibition is held in the framework of the Year of education and science of the UK and Russia 2017, and its program is partially dedicated to the research topic.

The exhibition is one of the biggest education fairs in the country: representatives of more than 50 leading schools, colleges and UK universities will present their programmes for secondary, higher and business education, will talk about the short-term and summer programs in the English language. Visitors will also be able to personally ask questions of the graduates of British universities, to participate in competitions and draws of valuable prizes.

In the framework of the seminar program during the two days will be about 30 lectures and master-classes from representatives of leading British universities. Topics of the seminars will be most relevant to students questions: what are the ways to enter a British University, how to write a motivation letter, what criteria apply to prospective students from the top educational institutions on how to consider the University rankings and how to get a scholarship.

Individual seminar sessions will be devoted to the peculiarities and advantages of training for specialties in the UK: the representatives of leading universities will speak about the science program and software engineering, what are the possibilities for scientific activity and further employment of students.

Those who are interested in vocational training can learn how to build a career as a lawyer in the UK and the interesting linguistic education, as well as what is the importance of professional certificates in financial environment.

For students attracted to the arts program, the British Council has prepared a master class from the renowned University of the Arts London on the topic of how to write a creative portfolio, and a representative of Norwich University of the Arts will give advice on the subject of employment after completion of training in creative programs in the UK.

Traditionally a lot of interest at the show cause meeting with graduates of British universities: this is a unique opportunity to obtain information about the real student experience and learn how British education has helped the graduates build a successful career.

A separate part of the seminar program will be devoted to scholarships. Representatives of the British Embassy in Russia will present Chevening is the only a British government scholarship that covers 100% of the costs for the training in the UK. Visitors will be able not only to learn, by what criteria applications are considered for the scholarship, but also to hear the advice of Chevening alumni.

Guests of the exhibition will be a large number of prize drawings and surprises from partners of the British Council – the most popular British toy store Hamleys, the brand of fresh handmade cosmetics from LUSH in the UK, a network of British beauty Toni&Guy, the book house "Moscow" and others. Younger guests at the site will meet Hamley Bear.
