For the third consecutive year the University of East Anglia (UEA) continues to hold the position in the list of 15 best universities in the UK, according to the prestigious rating "Complete University Guide 2019".

The last ten years the University persistently improving and today boasts of 14-th place in the ranking for 2019, published on April 25.

The drafters of the "Complete University Guide" assess the 131 universities in the United Kingdom in 10 categories. Separately evaluated the quality of teaching 70 disciplines, the University of East Anglia is included in the top 10 for the quality of the teaching 9 of the 30 disciplines.

The University continues to improve its position in the rankings, which is an additional confirmation of the high quality of teaching, research, and interests of students.

Significantly improved the performance of individual programs of the University. Course in Nursing climbed from 10th place to 5th. Programs in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics (7th place), and also in Social work (4th place) went up by 9 positions.

The program for Psychotherapy UEA is ranked third in its category, according to American Studies — fifth. Also the top ten included courses in Creative writing (8th place) and Communications and media (10-e).

The ranking was first published 11 years ago. Its main task is to provide the students with accurate and accessible information about universities. The table is compiled on the basis of the following criteria: student satisfaction, research quality, the amount of research, entry requirements, the ratio of students and teachers, the budget for educational services, diplomas with advanced program, the prospects of graduates and the percentage of successfully completed University.

Mary Lishman, a representative of the Student Union UEA for education, said: "the Students love UEA for many reasons — quality teaching, friendly and open-minded staff, a wide choice of sports clubs, as well as a comfortable and affordable city to live. And despite the rigor and the abundance of concrete around, the local rabbits and comfortable housing on campus encouraging students and help us to get excellent grades".
