University of Surrey joined the list of the best universities in the world in 17 subject areas

The University of Sussex has entered the list of best universities in the world in 17 subject areas, according to the ranking of world universities "QS World University Rankings 2016/17".

According to the updated list of "QS World University Rankings", the University of Sussex is among the international leaders in quality teaching 17 of the 46 disciplines and all five of the proposed subject areas.

The University's programs in hospitality Management and tourism was on the top of the list and included in the top five. The University also has demonstrated excellent performance in teaching electrical and electronics (101-150) and Nursing (51-100).
