Three prestigious ranking of universities for 2017 included the law School of the University of Kent in the top 20 in the United Kingdom.

In the latest list of school of law of the University occupies the 14th place out of 100 in the UK. To determine the best universities, the drafters of the ratings used the following parameters: the opinion of students on quality teaching, quality assessment of studies for 2014, the prospects for employment of graduates, and admission requirements. Based on these indicators the School of law of the University of Kent was awarded 8th place in the UK for research quality.

The University regularly ranks among the best law schools in the country. Earlier this year, the School of law, Kent was recognized as the 15th in the UK in the framework of the rating "The Guardian University Guide 2017" and the 19th according to the compilers of the "Complete University Guide 2017". The University of Kent is among 12 universities, whose faculties of law entered the top 20 in all three tables. In addition, the law school of the University included in the 150 best universities in the world for studying law, according to the substantive rating of "QS World University Rankings by Subject in 2016."
