Recent studies have shown that students while training at a British University using an average of 12 different textbooks, which can cost more than 200 pounds. Experienced students learned to avoid these costs by buying used textbooks from fellow senior courses or using the services of the University library. However, libraries can only provide a limited number of books, forcing students to wait for their turn and buying used books is possible only when the student has the necessary contacts with upperclassmen. Having considered this issue, an enterprising student from the London School of Economics have created a website textbookexchange.co.uk, where students can buy and sell books directly without paying Commission. Despite the fact that many books are translated into a digital format, students still prefer the paper version, so the popularity of the new site are provided.
