Student James Appleby from the University of the West of England has just been announced as a member of the new official Aston Martin Racing Junior Team - Generation AMR. According to Aston Martin Racing, the team will focus on young driver development, and was born from the joining of two family teams that competed against each other in the inaugural Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain. James, who is in the third year of a degree in Motorsport Engineering at UWE, said, “This is a great honour as I have only been motor racing for two years. Fellow junior team member Anthony Scragg and I were at the front of the field during 2010, racing wheel to wheel all season.” Read full text here.
