Richard Faragher, Professor of biogerontology University of Brighton, became one of three British scientists who received the prize Glenn (Glenn Award). Professor Faragher is also Chairman of the British society for the study of aging and President of the International Association of biomedical gerontology. His research on the biological mechanisms of aging has been nominated for the award of Glenn's two most prestigious philanthropic societies for the study of aging – the Alliance for the study of aging and the Glenn Foundation.
