Royal Welsh College of music and drama has developed a postgraduate course MA Musical Theatre. A new training course appeared due to the dramatically increased public interest in modern musicals and musical theatre productions. The training program will include three main disciplines of musical theatre – acting, singing and dance. Experienced teachers and industry professionals will teach students vocal technique and repertory works, dance, movement, and acting techniques. Students will be provided speaking opportunities at venues of various sizes, as well as participation in demonstration performances in Cardiff and London that will allow them to showcase their work theatrical agents.
