"Sunday times", one of the most prestigious and influential Newspapers in the world, awarded the title "University of the year 2010/11" king's College, University of London. The award, won last year by Oxfordis a comprehensive recognition of the achievements of the University including research, teaching quality and student life. 2010 was an exceptional year for king's College, University of London. This year significantly increased the number of applications for admission. In the undergraduate programs, the growth amounted to 13%, and master's degree – 30%. The University also has pageelse in international rankings – the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and the QS (21 positions).
