12.09.10. New qualification tailored to meet industry demand

A unique and new postgraduate qualification is this week being launched by Aston Business School, in Birmingham. The Masters (MSc) in Information Systems and Business Analysis is the first of its kind in the country and has been tailored to demand following consultation with industry. The course aims to give the learner an expert understanding of how information systems support a business and its operations. It aims to prepare the learner for a range of specialist careers as consultants, managers and business analysts. Learners will be assessed through a mixture of examinations and coursework. Basic entry requirements for this course include a good UK honours degree (minimum upper second class) and two professional references – at least one must be from an academic.
