Lancaster University has entered the top 10 in two national rankings 2017

Lancaster University has entered the top 10 in two national rankings and was named the best University in the Northwest.

A promising young University moved up two positions in the ranking and now occupies 8-e a place in rating Guardian University Guide 2017, published on may 23, 2016.

The rating of the newspaper "The Guardian" takes into account all aspects of University life that are traditionally important to most students. University of Lancaster improved their performance on the following parameters: overall satisfaction with University satisfaction with the teaching jobs and career opportunities.

The University also entered the top ten in terms of level of teaching of the following subjects:

• Business, management and marketing (8 th place);
• Mechanical engineering (2nd place);
• Accounting and Finance (8 th place);
• Mathematics (6th place);
• Sociology (4th place);
• Religious studies (10th place);
• Geography and ecology (5th place);
• Chemical engineering (6th place);
• Dramaturgy and choreography (5th place)
• History (7th place).

New achievement of the University only proves once again recognized the quality of education — the University also for the second year in a row is on the 9th place ranking by the Complete University Guide.

The rector of the University of Lancaster, Professor mark Smith, was very happy news. He said: "I am happy that the excellent reputation of our University year by year is reflected in the top rankings universities in United Kingdom.
