The University of Greenwich offers a number of advanced educational programs.
Graduates of four-year advanced training programs to get the full degree of the bachelor. Today the University offers 45 extended programs in the following areas: business, computer science, criminology, education, engineering, health, law, mathematics, media, science, and sociology.
Popular extension programs of the University:
New programmes have flexible entry requirements. They are open to promising applicants who have not obtained a sufficient number of points in the UCAS system or not studied the necessary subjects in school, which deprives them of the opportunity to enroll in the traditional baccalaureate program.
"If the applicant has the ability, but not enough points for admission, advanced training program represents a unique opportunity to obtain a higher education," said Dr. Steve Woodhead, head of Department of advanced educational programs.
"The plans of the student may change or it may not good enough to demonstrate their abilities during exams. There are also foreign students who have no opportunity to prepare for the delivery of GCSE exams. Advanced training program provides a unique opportunity for such applicants to start higher education in September of this year."
Expanded educational programs are absolutely identical to the traditional three-year undergraduate programs. After students receive diplomas with the same qualifications: BA Hons, BSc Hons, BEng or LLB Hons. The difference lies only in the fact that such programs consist of the annual program of the Foundationframework within which students gain the skills and knowledge necessary for successful study at undergraduate.
The University of Greenwich has considerable experience implementing such programs as advanced educational programs and the Foundation program for international students taught here for more than 10 years. Using the fruits of this successful experience, beginning this fall, the University offers advanced programs on all campuses.
