Professor Kay Stables from the Department of Design at Goldsmiths, University of London has received an award for 'Outstanding Contribution to Design and Technology Education' at the 2010 Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards.
The awards are held each year to recognise teachers, trainers and support staff who have made outstanding contributions to Design and Technology education.
Nominations for the awards, which give recognition to individuals for their unique work in design and technology education across six different categories, are made by members of the D&T Association and winners are selected by the Trustees of the Association. Read full text here.
