How many students from Russia takes Oxford in the first University?

The share of foreign students receiving the first higher education at Oxford University, is not so great – 14% compared with 61% in graduate and postgraduate courses. However, this number is constantly growing and the entry barriers for foreign students are becoming more surmountable.

In 2011, the programs of the first higher education in Oxford has been filed 65 applications from Russian citizens, 5 of them were approved. It is significant that no one enrolled in Oxford in 2011-th year students of the Russians at the time of application have not lived in Russia.

In the 2010-2011 academic year in all programs at the University of Oxford studied 113 people from three CIS countries: Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan. More than 70% of whom were citizens of Russia (HESA statistics).
