Comparison of diplomas and degrees in the Netherlands and Russia

A table of equivalence of diplomas issued in Russia and the Netherlands, will help determine the program level that may qualify the student on the basis of the existing diploma.

In the Netherlands there are several types of educational institutions: research universities, WO, and the universities of applied Sciences, HBO. Programs of the research universities in most cases is shorter and richer than the application.

The transition from training to applied research in the Dutch universities often requires additional training – from several months to a year. That is why when choosing a program, it is important to compare the levels of Russian and Dutch educational programmes and diplomas, as well as carefully examine the requirements of the universities when applying.
