Employment and work of graduates in the Netherlands through the program Orientation Year

Within three years after the end of Dutch University graduates can participate in the program Orientation Year for Highly Educated Persons to obtain a permit for finding work in the Netherlands for a period of 1 year.

• Completed the program of post-doctorate at the University of the Netherlands with a duration of at least 12 months;
• Participated in scientific research under Directive 2005/71/EC, or as a skilled migrant a highly skilled migrant;
• Graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Masters Course;
• Trained / training under programs of cooperation in the framework of cultural policy development;
• Graduated from one of the universities included in top 200 universities — Times Higher Education World University Rankings, QS World University Rankings, Academic Ranking of World Universities, and has a level of English, confirmed with certificate IELTS 6.0 and above.

General requirements for participant Orientation Year

In addition to the special provisions for graduates and research, an applicant for participation in the program Orientation Year shall demonstrate compliance with the General conditions of participation in the program by submitting the following documents:

• a valid passport;
• a completed application form confirming the absence of the applicant's record of violations of the law in your country and in the Netherlands - Antecedents certificate;
• tests for tuberculosis.

How to apply for participation in the Orientation Year

The documents submitted to the Immigration service of the Netherlands if:
