University of Kent is ranked 22nd in the "Guardian University Guide 2018"

A prestigious Guardian University League Table 2018 has placed the University of Kent on the 22-th place in the list of 121 best University in the country. The University climbed one position compared to last year, which confirms its status as one of the leading British universities.

The authors of the rating used the following criteria: results of a State survey of students (quality of teaching, assessment and the communication of teachers with students overall satisfaction with training), the ratio of teachers and students, the cost of University per student and career prospects of graduates.

The University of Kent are also among the ten best universities in the country in 6 subject areas:

• Design and applied arts (3rd place)
• The media and the cinema (3rd place)
• English language and literature (7th place)
• Political science (9 th place)
• Architecture (10th place)
• Anthropology (10th place)

Over the past few years in two fold increase in the number of disciplines of the University, included in the international ranking of the best programs "QS World University Rankings by Subject". In addition, the University of Kent was ranked 85-th place in the list of "2017 Table International Student" from the compilers of the rating of Times Higher Education.
