Tailored information and support for students from post-Soviet countries

One of Education Index's important goals is expanding access to international education for students from Russian-speaking countries.  We believe that a good Western education will help these students become full citizens of the global community, and will make people of other countries and cultures more closely aware of contemporary creative and intellectual Russia.  We hope that better education abroad will enable future graduates to make a positive investment in the development of their country and of the world, will give an extra boost to their professional and personal growth, and will help them find their personal vocation and become more fulfilled as people.

Differences in the following areas present difficulties for the majority of students from post-Soviet countries:

• Education systems;
• Course organisation, study methods and grading systems;
• Way of life, culture and mentality.

Information–analysis portal Education Index has been created to address these difficulties, providing students from Russian-speaking countries with unrestricted access to conveniently organised, high-quality information and the opportunity to receive support from qualified advisors.
