Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Hanze UAS), is the largest and the oldest University of Applied Sciences in the northern part of the Netherlands and is located in the vibrant student city Groningen.

Hanze University Groningen is a comprehensive university with 24,000 students, and a wide range of degree programmes, both graduate and undergraduate. Most students study Business, but there are also programmes in Physiotherapy, Communication, Civil Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Facility Management, Sensor technology, etc. Hanze's International Business and Management Studies programme ranked 2nd in prestigious Elsevier study guide 2016.

Hanze UAS is home to the best conservatoire and the oldest International Business School in the Netherlands, and to the unique Advanced Sensor Applications and International Physiotherapy programmes. All programmes focus on gaining work experience by means of two separate work placements which add value to your resumé.
