The School of Law of the University of Reading was ranked joint 7th (along with University of Cambridge) for world-leading research and international excellence in the most recent UK Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) in 2008. Students are among the most satisfied law students in the UK.

Programme overview
LLB Law at the University of Reading is intended as a qualifying law degree (QLD). This course will develop your knowledge and understanding of the core areas of English law necessary for professional accreditation, whilst allowing you to tailor your degree course to suit your own interests and ambitions.

While many graduates of LLB Law take professional exams and continue on to practise law, both in the UK and overseas, law graduates are also in high demand across many other areas. Potential destinations include European and international governmental and non-governmental organisations, the media, the IT sector, professional services firms, banking and financial institutions and the public sector, as well as more entrepreneurial careers.
The University of Reading is located in the South-East of England and has excellent transport links. Reading's railway station is within only 25 minutes from London Paddington by high speed train, as well provides regular services to and from other cities around the UK. There are direct services to and from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports.
